ROAD SAFETY DAY: FIELD TRIP TO TRAFFIC PARK

Poor road safety results in adverse effect on children’s wellbeing and health. In consideration to this, ‘Road Safety Week’ is an initiative aimed at schools, to educate children about the safety on roads. During this week, children were taught how to be safe on roads, using a range of activities like creating a model to teach traffic signs and rules, field trip to ‘Children’s Traffic Training Park’ wherein children learnt about basic traffic signals and rules, they participated in hands-on activities related to the subject which made their learning more successful.  Craft activity and rhymes were added allowing them to retain more information and apply their newly acquired skills.
