INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY: WORK LIFE BALANCE

Work-life balance is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, especially for women who juggle various responsibilities, whether they are career-oriented or homemakers. To support the well-being of its educators, Shri Ram Global Pre School on Mall Road hosted a yoga session on International Yoga Day. The school invited Ms. Reena Talwar, a certified yoga and wellness coach recognized by the government of India, to conduct the session. During the event, Ms. Talwar highlighted the benefits of yoga and its significance in the daily lives of working women. She emphasized that yoga can strengthen the body and mind, enabling women to perform their multiple roles with grace and efficiency. The teachers learnt that yoga has not only been a blessing for women but also plays a vital role in community health. Regular practice of yoga can lead to physical, mental and spiritual transformation, creating harmony between the body, mind, and spirit. The schoolfocuses on the well-being of its teachers which was visible on International Yoga Day, reflecting its commitment to promoting work-life balance through yoga. Having a career is great, but one must ensure that he/ she has an active lifestyle. Let’s bring the change and transform our lives through Yoga, and achieve work-life balance.
