Grandparents and grandchildren create a chain of love linking the past and the future. They are the stalwarts of the family who lay a firm foundation for best of their children and grandchildren. Shri Ram Global Pre School Mall Road had organised Grandparents Day to express gratitude towards them for enriching the lives of their grandchildren with great lessons of experience and love. The event was held on Wednesday, 18th September, at Sutlej club. The event started by welcoming the grandparents.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the interactive session lead by the anchor where grandparents wholeheartedly participated. Stalls of various games and activities like Balloon Pop, Spinner wheel, Guessing Booth, Ring toss, Musical Corner, Dance Floor and much more were setup to engage grandparents with their grandchildren. This not only strengthened the bond between generations but also provided an opportunity for shared laughter and joy.
The venue was adorned with beautiful decorations and fairy lights. The artwork of the pre-schoolers was given as prizes and mementos to the grandparents. The school faculty interacted with the guests on a one on one basis, during the high tea arranged for them. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves making memories that will last a life time. The grandparents appreciated and shared their views on the efforts of the school for organising such events which help make connection between generations.
