To mark the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, students of Shri Ram Global Pre School in Ludhiana tied Rakhi to the commissioner of police, Sir. Mandeep Singh Sidhu. This gesture was to thank the police department for safeguarding and serving the society, wherein selected children met the commissioner of police to tie Rakhi. In school the children made cards for their brothers and sisters. They also learnt to make sweets (kulfi) for the occasion. Further to develop confidence and better understanding of the festival, the children were asked about the same.
