NATIONAL NUTRITION WEEK

“To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.”

It was ‘National Nutrition Week’

During this week the children were sensitised about the importance of a balanced food and healthy eating habits. The week commenced with ‘Leafy Day’ wherein children were asked to get leafy vegetable snack in tiffin and dress up in green color clothes. The second day was ‘Nutty Day’. The students carried five different kinds of nuts to school. On ‘Fruity Day’ children enjoyed eating their favorite fruit. On Grains and pulses Day, children were asked to get a snack made of grains and pulses.
