In a unique and heart-warming celebration, students and teachers at Shri Ram Global Pre School celebrated Diwali with pen pals with UK-based school, fostering cultural exchange and understanding. Through an interactive online session, the young children shared the essence of the Festival of Lights, highlighting traditions that make Diwali special.
The celebration included a serene prayer session and a presentation of colorfulrangoli decorations, giving UK pen pals a glimpse into the significance of the festival. Rangoli, a traditional Indian art form created with vibrant colors and intricate patterns, brought joy and added a festive touch to the virtual gathering. In an effort to promote eco- friendly Diwali, the children at SRGPS celebrated without bursting firecrackers. Instead they enjoyed the excitement by bursting balloons, which added twist to the festivity. The children in both countries were excited to learn about each other’s cultures, strengthening bonds through this beautiful exchange of traditions.
