On the occasion of National French Fries Day, our school celebrated with a delightful storytelling session titled “Freddy the French Fries’ Big Day”, enacted by our enthusiastic team of teachers. The event aimed to blend fun with learning, sparking curiosity and imagination among the children.
The story followed the adventurous journey of Freddy, a cheerful and curious French fry, who dreamt of becoming more than just a snack. Through Freddy’s encounters with various food characters — curly Carla, smiley Sam and tiny Tim — children learned valuable lessons about friendship, diversity and making healthy choices.
Teachers brought the story to life with expressive narration, colorful props and creative costumes, keeping the young audience fully engaged. The enactment not only entertained the children but also provided them with moral takeaways in a light-hearted, memorable way.
The event concluded with a short interaction session, where children shared their favourite parts of the story and discussed what they learned. It was a fun-filled and educational celebration that truly made Freddy’s Big Day a big day for everyone involved!
