A workshop on Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was conducted for preschool teachers to raise awareness about childhood safety and legal responsibilities. The session focussed on identifying the signs of abuse, understanding the provisions of the POCSO Act and implementing child friendly practises in the classroom. Teachers were guided on how to handle disclosures sensitively and the importance of creating the safe and supporting environment for young children. The workshop emphasised the vital role educators’ play in early detection and prevention of abuse.
