Global Road Safety Day

Poor road safety has a significant impact on children’s well-being. In response to this concern, Global Road Safety Day was observed at school as an initiative to educate young learners about the importance of staying safe on roads. A variety of engaging activities were organized to make the learning process interactive and meaningful. Children participated in creating models to demonstrate traffic signs and rules, helping them understand their real-life applications. A fun craft activity allowed students to make traffic lights and learn the meaning of each colour—red for stop, yellow for wait, and green for go. To reinforce the message, Safe Walker Badges were distributed to all students, serving as constant reminders to follow traffic rules and never ignore them. The day successfully instilled in children a sense of responsibility and awareness towards road safety.
