“On the occasion of World Earth Day and World Garden Day, the children visited the Technocare Plant Nursery and Garden Centre for an educational and fun-filled field trip. The visit aimed to help children connect with nature and develop an appreciation for the environment. During the trip, the children explored a variety of plants and flowers. They learned about the different types of plants, their names and the essential elements needed for their growth—sunlight, water, soil and air. The experience sparked curiosity and excitement among the children as they observed the vibrant greenery around them. Following the visit, the children participated in an art activity inspired by the theme of Earth Day. Through their creative expressions, they showcased what they had learned and reinforced the importance of caring for our planet. The visit to the plant nursery was a truly enriching and memorable experience. It provided a perfect blend of learning and hands-on engagement, leaving the children inspired to nurture and protect nature.
